About Fazenda Barinas
A mix of history, faith, and mystery is what exists at Barinas which means in the indigenous language “where the wind blows stronger”. The name was given by owner Márcio Borges in honor of the Araxás Indians who lived in the region.
It has spread rumors that they come back at night to protect the plantation.

Surrounded by land of geological formation and mineral riches such as sulphureous waters, niobium, and apatite. Lands where prehistoric mammals lived. This is where they find the history of their ancestors and their crops.
 
 
Processing Details: Induced Anaerobic Natural
Anaerobic is a fermentation process wherein the coffee cherries are placed into fermentation tanks without air for several days (depending on the desired result). In our case, the anaerobic fermentation takes place for 5-7 days and then placed onto African drying beds for a total of ~20 days. This is an emergent process gaining rapid popularity due to the incredible and unique flavors it can produce from the process known as anaerobic fermentation.
